Heartbreak for the die-hard fans
When the sitcom was pulled off the air fans were truly devastated. What would happen to the clan? Are they still lingering around in the Pacific or did they finally manage to move on? There were a couple of tributes and remakes that were released in the years following the unceremonial ending, but these did just not quite hit the spot. There was something missing.
