Finding a way
The Siberian wastelands are a perilous place, even for the animals that reside there. Since there is no normal disposition of seasons like places further down south, it’s hard to move around. Many animals prefer to stay put and only walk around to eat. However, this mother bear was an exception to this habit. She was standing at the edge of the cold lake, with her two cubs behind her. They obviously needed to get somewhere, but it seems like momma bear overestimated the toughness of her cubs.
